it's been three weeks since the boy left but it seems like ages. i'm getting used to it although i can't wait for the day he's back. either that or i can't wait for the day i pop over to visit him. (whichever happens first) :) in his little ways, he never fails to make me happy, laugh and feel that he's with me all the time. despite his physical disappearance, nothing much has changed. i admit that once or twice i got frustrated because i was having a bad day and wanted someone to talk to but the internet/telephone connection just wasn't helping. and perhaps i feel a little sad and lonely sometimes because i miss him just being around. but these things can't be helped and i'm adapting and i hope that we are growing stronger with every day!
work has been alright. the past few weeks have been like a honeymoon. live work will start officially tomorrow and i'm a little nervous yet excited! there's quite a bit to do i feel cos we're only starting and handling live work is still a pretty new/different experience as compared to all the training/practices we've had for the past two months. the volume to begin with is actually considered little compared to the volumes we'll be handling when work is in full swing but it's still quite a bit for newbies like us to handle. i've been trying to fight negatives and stay positive with regards to the work environment. (it's not that it's bad but we've been hearing not so nice stuff even though we still feel that it's good) so i am really looking forward to the day i can enter the office and feel comfortable doing my work and not panicking or feeling flustered as to what needs to be done.
driving lessons have been fine too. i have instructed my instructor (hehe pun intended) to book a test date for me hopefully in the first week of October. i'll let you guys know when it's been confirmed and i'll soon be going for my first driving test! well, i hope it's the first and last one but if i'm not ready to pass by that time, i guess i'm just not ready to pass. as of now, i'm comfortable driving but i do recognize that i need more confidence and practice to be a really competent driver. i think as of now, i'm probably still a road hazard. haha. i'll do my best though. *crosses fingers*
i'm trying hard to keep this blog alive, because i guess for all friends whom i do not chat with often, this is really a good way to "keep in touch". please do pop by once in a while, and i will try to update when i can, or when there's anything new going on. (cos i'm a really boring blogger and this is probably just like a mini-for friends-journal. hehe.) hugs :)
