Some must have been wondering where did the pretty picture "Lorrie's World" go to. Well, I stored it on the NUS IVLE and since I've graduated, they closed my account and poof! the picture's gone! Haha. So bear with the plain purple stars for a while. On that note, Lorrie has officially graduated!!!! :):)

Doesn't Lorrie and the lion look cute? Hee. Well, honestly, I wasn't very excited about the commencement ceremony. There wasn't much hype but on the actual day, at UCC, when I started putting on the gown, hood with the motar board, there was this sudden secret feeling of "Yay! I made it!" Perhaps it would really have been different if I graduated with Swannie and Chris. There were many familiar faces from Bizad but none of which I feel as close to as compared to my first 3 good years in University although I did grow closer to some other friends in my 4th year when Swannie and Chris had already graduated. Well, "Congratulations Lorrie!" :)
There was a dinner held by the Business School alumni on the next day and I attended with a few friends. It was a really neat dinner, a little like a mini dinner & dance held at the Asian Civilisation Museum. Sitting at my table, listening to the wonderful music played by the band that night, I felt that one of my regrets in University would be not spending more time with my fellow bizaders and making more good friends from Bizad. My University life was a blast but more from hall. My University friends are mostly my hall friends. But something's gotta give I guess. Sometimes you can't have the best of both worlds. ;)
Anyway, to update on my last post, I have been going for my driving lessons once a week so hopefully if all goes well, I want to take my driving test in October. I feel that I need more than 1 lesson a week but time only permits such so... End of the year, end of the year - I can do it! Additionally, it's been about 1mth and 1 week into work now. Have been training and still loving it and my colleagues. I think work proper will start soon, really soon but I'll stay positive and enjoy now when I can.
Commencement. This word has more meaning now. :)
