Yay! I completed my (possibly) last ever examination in NUS yesterday. Now, 1 left! CP project plus presentation next Tuesday.
Reality kicked in yesterday that hey, this week will be my last week in Eusoff and I will never be back in this room again. Kinda sad. Was supposed to check out by 7 Maybut since we're leaving for Taipei on the 3rd and will only be back on the 8th, we'll have to pack up before our trip. Meng, Kit, Ding and I will be travelling together and I hope it'll be fun! It will be my first trip to Taiwan.
Naj, Ding and I spent a relaxing afternoon at Sentosa today. We chilled at Cafe Del Mar, played a bit of frisbee and waded in the sea. We were glad that weather was fantastic. The sun was out for a while and it wasn't scorching hot. The dark clouds then seemingly threatened our afternoon but just didn't pour until we decided to leave Sentosa.
It was really quite a good day :)

Oh, I caught "200 Pounds Beauty" last weekend with Mr T and I simply loved the show. It's funny and heartwarming. Not to mention a pretty lady and a good looking guy! Plus she sings so well! ;)

What am I doing awake at almost 7 in the morning?! But this has been my bedtime for the past few days. Horrible. Sigh. Not like I spend the whole night studying. Sheesh but I shall not talk about studying (rather, not studying) 'cos it'll make my post usual and boring. I shall just have to study really conscientiously and panic for the next two days! Boo. Anyway, I am tired enough to go to bed but since my hair's still wet, I decided to blog again. (I really do realise that I blog especially a lot during exam times. In other semesters, I think I even change my whole blog layout.)
Sometimes I think blogs are silly and impersonal because how true can one be on their blog which they wouldn't know who might end up reading? Well, I don't mean we lie, I guess rather, most people blog about things they don't mind other people knowing and simply leave out the sensitive topics/emotions which they mind some people knowing. I guess that's some people make their blogs totally personal, i.e. acts like a diary, or some people lock their blog or certain entries. I don't know how to lock entries, or if it's possible to do that on blogger so I don't.
Anyway, after going one big round, what I really wanted to say was that sometimes I think blogs are really useful for just keeping in touch with some friends. Like maybe you may not speak to them all the time, but you'ld know how they're doing and briefly what's going on in their lives. I think this is the pure beauty of blogging. It closes up the distance which may have formed if two people haven't seen/spoke to each other in a long time. Some people "kaypoh" around strangers blogs, usually people they have heard of but may not know in person. But that too I guess adds colour to our otherwise boring life. Haha. (I think I'm typing all these because I just did my usual surfing of blogs.)
I wish I could photoblog more! But my lack of ownership to a good, convenient camera disallows me from doing so. I think I'm a closet "camwhore". Haha. Maybe my better friends would remove the "closet" or the "think" from the previous sentence. Well, with a long list of wants and more expenditure going towards my holiday plans, I wonder when will I invest in a camera. Should I get a digicam? Or should I get a phone with a good decent camera? Or should I get both? Then, if I'm going on a holiday, I should get a camera first right... Hmm.. 'tis a usual Lorrie quandary. Haha.
WJ and I went out again. We had dinner and caught "Smokin' Aces". I really don't quite like action shows, especially when the plot's a lil too fast for me to catch. With many characters in the show, and the show directed in a way such that the scenes keep switching, I really found the plot difficult to comprehend. There was kinda like a twist at the end but hmm... Haha. I was still trying to figure out what happened when the show ended so I guess I didn't enjoy it that much. I am also not a big fan of fighting and crossfire scenes so I guess this was an OK show for me. I'd give the show a hmm. sorry. maybe 2.5 out of 5 stars. I wouldn't recommend this show but maybe it's because I prefer comedies, romantic comedies, love stories and maybe even suspense thrillers and horror. Action shows are really at the bottom of my list. Why did I decide to watch this then? 'Cos I didn't know it was quite an action show, and 'cos I wanted to give these kinda shows a chance. Sometimes, I chance upon gems and find seeming action shows which has good plots. Thus the consequence of not doing "research" before walking into a cinema.
I can't wait for my exam to end. Even though I'd still have my project and presentation to work on, it'll still seem like a load off. And for it to end nicely, I shall have to wakey earlier than my past few days usual and join in the studying routine.
"No more procrastinating!! Ganbatte Lorrie!"

I'm feeling lazy, sleepy, restless and full from block supper. What's new! But what's the point of trying to study when my mind will not be able to concentrate fully? Even my vison is fuzzy and I feel like my eyes are just small and on the verge of closing.
Procrastination is my middle name. And so I say tomorrow I shall blah blah. And tomorrow I say tomorrow... tomorrow's tomorrow I say tomorrow. :( I'm horrible!
Anyway, I have been collecting the Doraemon magnets from 7-Eleven just for fun. I remember the last time I collected the Hello Kitty magnets (with lots of help from Fengyi) and now, the full set on the board is lying somewhere at home. But oh well, I will aim to get the Doraemon full set if not, it's alright. I doubt I'd trade or buy any online (from strangers).
Having said that, any friends would like to contribute magnets to me? :p hehe. I'm still short of Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Pole, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Greece, Russia, Scotland and Brazil. As for the Singapore collection, I'm short of Suntec City, Changi Airport and Esplanade. Msg me! :)

With 1 final exam next week, one final project and presentation due 2 May, and to move out of hall by 7 May, it's approximately two weeks to the end of my University and Hall life!
I will miss sitting in my room, with the door open, window blinds up giving me a view of eusoff hall whenever I pop my head to look out...
Anyway, I just realised I didn't post any Dinner and Dance photos from 23rd March. That's almost a month ago. So, yep! Here's a collage of some photos from my last Eusoff Hall DnD.
This DnD was meaningful, memorable but not as impactful as my DnDs for the past few years. Nevertheless, memories for me to take away with...
In a clockwise direction starting top left: 1) Dearest Dingding and I. Need I say more? Anyway, Dearest Dingding didn't go for DnD because she had an evening class!! So a photo of her and myself after I came back from DnD.
2) My beloved A3 girls. What would my fourth year in hall be without them. Thanks ting, qm, grace, amanda, andrea, yuimin and carol. I'm glad we had a few outings for 'bonding'. Better late than never! :)
3) Wingkit and Meng. My GFs! Hehe. Closer guy friends from hall who are practically like my girl friends. You know, same same but different? Oops. Hehe. But seriously, thanks for being - just being my friends and being there. It made a helluva difference!
4) Jiayun. My dear friend since Year 1 who's always stood by me. Both of us were from the same block, same floor in Year 1. Despite our lack of meetups 'cos of various factors such as school and distance (hey A and E are quite far okay haha), I'm glad things between us haven't changed much.
5) Alina. My favourite freshie! Hehe. I am trying not to be bias in writing these tags but I guess I'm human and favourism is normal. Well, Al's a great girl but I guess I'm particularly close to her because of our opportunity to get to know each other better from joining DP and touch rugby. I'll miss her!
6) This photo was label "old farts again" by Meng. Need I say more? The people whom have been living in Eusoff Hall with me for the past 3/4 years. We're finally graduating!!! Since I didn't include individual photos with them, special mentions to the B3 girls, Xiaoyan and Phong for colouring my Eusoff history.
7) Did I mention that Naj and I were awarded Sportwomen of the Year? Feeling a 'lil sense of satisfaction yet a 'lil embarassed cos I don't think I really deserved it but at the end of the day, I accepted it cos yay! I got a free DnD ticket! Woohoo! I guess I used to care quite a bit about recognition and awards, I still do but perhaps not as much as before already. I've learnt through these 4 years in hall and the people I've met that perhaps what matters more is being yourself and being happy and satisfied with yourself :)
"Hang in there Lorrie, and don't stop believing!"

i decided to pause my spider game to blog only because i haven't been blogging for quite some time. i've grown lazy as usual. it's difficult to blog when there's inactivity or (on the other extreme) to much activity. not just in physical activities but also in thoughts and i'm not exactly a person who can articulate her thoughts well - even more so with writing. anyway...
handed in a term paper today. it was pair work and ding and i paired ourselves up! spent the whole night doing it as usual but the end product was rather rewarding. i don't think i would have chose to do the term paper with anyone else because she knows me best, accomodates me the most and our styles don't clash that much. it's also rather funny the ideas we come up with (whether our prof likes it or not. heh) i hope we fare well. :)
i love a girl's night out! dinner with my beloved A3 girls last evening at Indulgz after some of them read about the place in Xiaxue's blog. the restaurant's a pretty neat place, liked the whole feel. the food's not bad but i guess it's not the kind i would really really rave about. the staff are nice and very service-oriented. overall, with the company of my girls, i'd rate the experience a 8/10! i'll definitely go back to try their other dishes and dessert!
my travel plans after school ends and before i start work are horrible. we're not making progress so i guess i should step up the planning. then again, some of my projects are not making headway either. quite worrying since it's the last week of school already. but i guess for me school doesn't end till the 30th. my final presentation for the year long consulting practicum.
