 | Tenderheart Bear You are thinker, organizer, peacekeeper, and leader all in one. You have a power to command attention and people listen to you. However, you are often so concerned about not hurting others' feelings that you don't tell them what they need to hear and this gets you both into trouble. But you always have loyal friends to help you out. |

Something I haven't done in ages - Take a random online quiz. True? Untrue? Hmm.. Don't know but Carebears are cute. They remind me of being young.
Anyway, we won in our tabletennis semis today! And I won my 2nd singles match (3:2) narrowly, providing much entertainment to the fairly one-sided wins in my team's first 4 matches. Yes, once again I was playing the 3rd singles. I really feel happy that I won 'cos I guess I fought really hard and I was determined to win. My friend commented that she could see my determination and many said I played really well despite losing 2 sets. Haha.. But despite all my jitters, I am really thankful for this experience and for all my friends, teammates and fans who cheered me on! hahaha.. :)
On top of project meetings and the tabletennis match, I did work today. I prepared for my meeting tomorrow morning (later actually) where we have to hand in the assignment on Thursday. I also typed out my assigned part of another assignment due on Friday. I feel hardworking and hope to continue this for the rest of the semester.
I do what I can. :)

hi everyone!
it's been ages since i updated because i have been really lazy and busy. *embarrassed* hehe. but this post is for my dear friends (in particular those who tagged on my tagboard :)) so, hmm let's see.
december was a busy period. after i came back from a good hongkong trip, i started my daily dosage of training for the annual interhall games (hockey, touch, track and tabletennis - hockey and touch had much more intensive trainings as compared to the other 2 sports) and dance practices for my hall's annual dance production. my hardwork was paid off when we were champs for touch, runner-up for hockey and 2nd runner-up for track. despite it not being the eluded triple champs, i was extremely happy with the performance of my team and myself in all of those 3 sports.
in touch, i scored 3 tries in touch after not scoring in my past 3 years. scoring isn't that important actually but it felt good. i felt like my 3 years of ihg touch had really made a difference. i am a better player and i enjoy touch so much more. i had so much to share with the freshies, esp those who were just picking up the game. not that i'm a expert of any sort, but i guess i would like them to enjoy and learn more about touch and continue to play touch for eusoff.
in hockey, it was ever memorable as we were kinda hockey idiots in year 2 (when we picked it up) and we have grown from gillian's hockey babies to eusoff's hockey babes. hahaha.. (when i say 'we', i'm referring to me and dingding.) even though we didn't win the competition, we worked very hard for our 2nd place and i'm happy we made it happen. it wasn't easy but we did it! i really appreciated my captain, my teammates and last but not least, all my fellow year 4s - naj, ding, xw and polly.
in track, hmm once again i ran the 4x100 and the 4x400. i really am not even close to top condition but i guess as always (similar to naj and every other eusoff tracker), we do it for hall. we do it for the slight reminiscence of track meets. we do it for the fact that we're ex-trackers and there seems to be some kind of bond (maybe haha). it's like we can relate to one another! well, this time for real, it is really probably 99.5% that these 2 races will be the last 2 most competitive track races of my life.
tabletennis semifinals will be played tmr evening. okay correction, this evening (tuesday). in the preliminaries on saturday, i played my first ever singles match in ihg preliminaries and possibly my 3rd ever competitive singles match in my life. i won! hahaha.. for the past 2 years, when i played singles, it was always during the tabletennis finals and each time i met the strongest player from the other team and like NUS ranked no.1 or 2 and became a good sacrificial lamb. this time round, i was no lamb! hahaha... i am thankful that i picked up tabletennis in sec sch because it's really fun and a special skill i guess. i mean, who really learns real tabletennis skills for leisure? haha... i hope we make it through the semis and i hope we win in the finals. go eusoff!
last but not least, dance. it's something else that i have been busy with. but i shall not elaborate much on that except that i dance almost everyday! please please show me your support by coming to watch my last ever eusoff hall dance production at our NUS UCC on the 16th of February!!!!!! Tickets are at $18 and $25 i think. I look forward to seeing you there okay friends.... =)
last semester in NUS. last semester in Eusoff. last ihg for Eusoff. last dp for Eusoff. last year, last chance.
