yay!! whee!! although today i had a bad morning (woke up 1 hr late but still rushed in time for work) and had an OKAY work day, my day was brightened up by my first 3 birthday presents! hehe..
my sister gave me a ZEN Neeon! Such a sweet sister, hehehe.. knowing that i wanted an ipod mini, she decided to get me something similar. She said that when she compared the ipod mini and the zen neeon, she felt that the zen neeon was a better buy! I really like it a lot. my second gift was from her bf, marcus. he got me an Emily the strange sling bag. my sister said that i mentioned i liked Emily the strange before, that's why she told him and that's why he bought it. whee! :) last but not the least, my bro's gift was a set of 4 and a set of 2 stik-ons for my new Zen Neeon! ahahaha... I was surprised to find it hidden in the Emily the strange bag. My sister said that they are expensive stickers. yay!! whee! i am happy! :)
hmm.. i wanted to post photos of frenchloaf, pudding and myself cos we took some last saturday when the 3 of us went to frenchloaf's place to swim. but apparently, because they are in different file formats, i'm unable to do so. oh well, next time, if i find a way how. hehehe.. the bottom line is, i really has a great time with these two wonderful babes. haven't met pudding for quite a while and it's only when i really meet up with her that i realised how much i missed her. hehe..
sigh. i'm gonna be moving back to hall soon. mixed emotions though. i love being at home. but i also like being in hall with friends and all...

Yet another exciting week. Hehe. I am glad. At work, I've went out of the office all 5 days! 4 days on my own to some sitevisits and on Friday i tagged along to see how a Bloomberg demonstration was done. Other highlights include a team lunch to a traditional japanese restaurant at the ritz carlton on Monday and a department party to Lash at the One Fullerton on Friday.
On Thursday (30/6) I met up with beloved Mr Tang, a teacher of mine, Sweetheart, Liting, Kaiwei and Agnes. All of us are track mates. Mr Tang was my DHS track coach. He was also a coach in VJ but primarily coaching the jumpers. I am really quite thankful to have him as a coach and friend. He's nice. He's the kind of teacher who helps you to realise your potential and teaches you the other things in life other than results. He is person with passion I would say. Hehe. All my other friends haven't changed one bit. We're very much still the same. Anyway, a pity I didn't bring a camera along, if not i'll post some photos. Btw, I never laughed so much in a while. It was fun!
Friday evening, other than the department party, I went blading with my Swimming friend at east coast park. It was really nice. As always, good company and nice activity. We bladed from Macs to the Bedok jetty. Spent sometime there before Blading back. I really like to stand and stare at the sea, and the sky. It was cloudy though. No stars could be spotted. The breeze was wonderful. and... no mosquitoes! We also went swimming, our usual activity, on Saturday morning. However, the unconfrontable was confronted after our swim. Along the lines of what kinda friends we were...etc. Sigh. I really dislike that but i know that these are boundaries we have to draw sometimes. Can't we just enjoy each other's company yet not have any romantic feelings? Or.. can't we just enjoy each other's company yet not have any committments. I think he did hit bull's eye a bit. I guess I was really rather hurt by my previous relationship. Oh well, maybe when i meet someone or maybe when i feel that someone is right, i'll be more willing to give things another try. But no. not now. and not in the near future.
Anyways, then Awful came over to my storeroom-like house! Surprisingly she loved it! Hehehe... :) We just sat ard, she read some mags, talked to my nice sister, watched video i recorded for her, and eat junk food like icecream and nuggets hehehe.. I just like lazing ard bumming with friends. It's the kind like you can both do ur own individual stuff and not really care abt the other but yet you appreciate the company. Maybe yakking is not really necessary at times. Needless to say, I had a good time and I hope Awful did too. (to Awful: I found out how to use bluetooth on ur mobile to send pictures! hehe)
Next, Awful and I made our way to Lavinia's 21st Birthday Party where we reunited with Frenchloaf, Addie and Mummy Rach! muahahaha.. All us C3 girls short of Pootding and Ying. Happy belated 21st Lav! Wishing you happiness always!
Frenchloaf came to my storeroom-junk-like house to stay over as she lives far far far away. haha.. Same as Awful, she ate, read mags, yakked with Lorrie...etc. We also cooked Campbell's soup in the middle of the night. Just like we would do in Hall. Sigh, I miss hall. Weird but i love being home too. hehe.. As usual, she cooked i watched and ran the errands! Oh ya, be careful of frenchloaf and her legs when u sleep with her! hahaha... shhh.. We had nice Sunday lunch and coffee with Ben (we met him on the train) before Lorrie headed for her 1st ballet lesson in 4 years!
How was it? Felt old. Inflexible. Achy! ahahaha.. But it was fun. I still love the music and the movement and feelings that come with it. I really miss those days where I was dancing. So me and my ballet friend decided to go again next week and if possible, make it a once a week committment. It's not going to be easy picking it up again. But i'll try. I'll try.
Btw, guess who i met on my way to ballet. I met my ex ex bf. Weitowe. He was driving his dad's car along Joo Chiat rd when I heard someone called me. It was his dad who was seated next to him. Good to bump into them. His grandma was seated behind with his little cousin and she waved at me too. I walked over to wish him Happy Birthday because it is his birthday today. But cos it happened to be red light so the car was not moving and i was already late for ballet class, the meeting was a brief one as i mentioned i gotta go for my ballet class. I smsed him after that yet there was no reply. Perhaps he changed his mobile number. perhaps there was no need to reply. perhaps perhaps but it was a nice surprise coincidence meeting him on his 21st birthday.
Okay. so much of the week and what i can recall. I hope this week will be good too. Interesting if not boring. Relaxing if boring. hehehe... Coming up are some pictures so enjoy... :)
